The burgers here are EXCELLENT. Truly insane. The fries were pretty good too, if I had to nitpick the gravy was a touch in need of a little something. Mind I'm here for the burger, and this burger is a good one.
It was our first time visting this store but so impressive with the manager. While we were considering, he brought a box of chilli fries for a warm welcome, and then a poutine while waiting for our order. Burgers (beef and crispy chicken) are really good and flavourful. There are a lot of outdoor tables in the back for gathering and enjoying. Try it once for local support and enjoyment.
The service was amazing, guy who took our order was super nice and offered some good suggestions too! The food was very tasty too! Would definitely recommend stopping in here

Love the food at this place. One of my favorite burgers and fries in the city. 100% recommend eating here. Best to take home with you as dine-in is a little tight.
First time at “The Burger Place” on Portage Avenue and I was blown away!!! I had a Deluxe burger with bacon and a side of Fries. The burger was PERFECT, nice thick cut bacon, quality home made burger patty, Chili was perfectly seasoned and sooo tasty. Fries were golden perfection, crisp and not over fried. If you want an Amazing Burger and Fries you have to go to The Burger Place on Portage Avenue!!! You won’t be disappointed.
All around great experiance. Food hit the spot, big servings, clean atmosphere with fun art and liked seeing our community youth running the show. Definitely will go again!!
My wife and I have enjoyed Burger Place for many years now. Stopped in this evening for a couple of our faves - cheeseburgers & chili cheese fries. The young folks working were quite busy but delivered high quality food! I asked for lots of chili on the fries & boy did they deliver! Highly recommended
